Welcome to the Training page for your Team session on

Resilient Thinking

Please see below a copy of your presentation

“If we talked to our friends the way we talk to ourselves

We wouldn’t have many friends”

Why is this ?

We will answer that question during the session!

Please use the following material to reflect on your session on Resilient Thinking

1) Use the Thoughts Feelings and Behaviour Questionnaire to look at some of your patterns. Your score is not so important but rather focus on why you might have these particular patterns of behaviours. It may inform some reflection on the session.

Again Dr Mike Evans shows the power of changing our thinking

2) Simply use the thought diary for a few days since the session to monitor the pattern of your self talk and how negative it might be.

If you notice a pattern maybe note some of the themes you use to criticise yourself?

Note: focus what might be the underlying belief behind the pattern of self talk

Tim Urbane confronts one of the enemies of Behaviour Change : Procrastination

This is an old but good talk by Angela Duckworth on Belief or what psychologists sometimes refer to as GRIT based on the original work of Carol Dweck
